Drake Park Orchard Mature Trees Pruning

The orchard is located off Cottage Grove at Drake Park, just south of the shelter. Please bring and sign up for any tools you have that you can bring for this task. We will be working in teams of 3 people per tree. The mature trees will be the focus of our task for this session. Our goal is to eliminate damaged and diseased limbs, (only smaller limbs and branches), low hanging branches and any crossing and crowded branches as needed. We will remove no more than a third of any tree. There are about 8 trees and these include apples, plum, and pear trees. Thank you!
